Owner of UP printing house detained in Himachal constables recruitment paper leak case

Sailendra Vikram Singh, a resident of Vaishali in Ghaziabad in UP, was arrested by a State Police Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Wednesday, according to a press release issued on Thursday.

Himachal Pradesh Police have arrested the owner of a print shop located in Uttar Pradesh in connection with an officer recruitment paper leak case in the state.

Sailendra Vikram Singh, a resident of Vaishali in Ghaziabad in UP, was arrested by a State Police Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Wednesday, according to a press release issued on Thursday. Sailendra Vikram Singh is the owner of Immense Solutions Private Limited in Sahibabad Industrial Zone in Gaziabad, from where the police officer recruitment document was released in March.

The diary held on March 27 was canceled by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on May 6.

The accused was brought before the Shimla Chief Justice’s Court on Thursday, where he was remanded in custody for 14 days.

The SIT seized 12 mobile phones, a USB key, 10 hard drives, three CCTV camera memory cards and other documents during the search of the print media, he added.

The cellphones and other electronic materials were sent to a state forensic laboratory in Junga for analysis, according to the press release.

The call detail record (CDR) of seized mobile phones is also being analyzed, he added.

In addition, the bank accounts of the owner of the printing plant are also being examined. Earlier on May 31, the SIT had arrested an employee of the printing press, Sudhir Yadav.

    Suspected case of monkeypox reported in Noida; patient in home isolation

    After Delhi and Ghaziabad, it is now Noida which has reported its first suspected case of monkeypox after a 47-year-old patient complained of fever and rash, two of the main symptoms of the disease.
